ResPeo Closure Announcement
After eight incredible years and with full hearts, we are announcing the closure of ResPeo.
ResPeo was born from a vision of supporting leaders and social impact organisations in cultivating compassionate services and reflective workplaces. Since our inception, we've had the privilege of working with 43 clients across charity, public and commercial sectors, supporting growth, meaningful organisational change, and influencing local and national policy.
Together, we've delivered impactful evaluations, facilitated thoughtful workshops, and helped individuals and teams navigate complex challenges with clarity and kindness.
We are immensely proud of what we have achieved and that ResPeo has always stood for integrity, insight, and care. First and foremost, we have cared for our staff. We were immensely proud to be an inclusive business with employee-led working hours and a flexibility first model. These values will live on in new forms, even as we close this chapter.
Our Director, Prof Maria Kordowicz, is now stepping away from business ownership for the time being, ready to explore new opportunities and focus on different professional pursuits. She said:
‘I am incredibly moved by the achievements of the ResPeo team past and present. Collectively, we have had 24 shining members of staff over the past eight years – all wholeheartedly dedicated to using research and facilitation to improve lives. I established ResPeo to provide “insight with integrity” and we were ever so lucky to work with compassionate clients desiring to use evidence to benefit their staff and service users. Personally, I am proud of ending on a high with numerous high impact work under our belt and years’ worth of professional fulfilment. After leading various businesses for over 20 years, I am however glad to have a little bit of a break!’
We thank you for your trust, collaboration, and belief in what we created. It has been a deeply joyful journey, and we are grateful to every individual and organisation who has been a part of it. We are also thankful to our present clients who have supported us as we have been winding down operations for the past six months, including those who engaged us in even more project work to catch us before we closed.
We shut our physical and figurative doors on 18th July 2025.
